Income tax exemption limit hiked from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh
In a marginal relief to individual taxpayers, FM increased I-T exemption limit from Rs 2L to Rs 2.5L and for senior citizens limit was hiked to Rs 3 lakh.
