During a sudden cyclone-like storm in Bhadrak, Tunglu—a street dog cared for by the temple—was blown off a three-storey roof onto concrete, yet survived without broken bones or visible injuries. At that exact moment, the temple’s brass Sudarshana chakra, fixed for nearly 20 years, mysteriously snapped and fell, which devotees saw as a divine act of protection by Lord Jagannatha.
