Cinnamon is an ancient spice which was discovered as far back as 4,000 years ago. It is native to Sri Lanka and therefore the best quality cinnamon is often referred to as Ceylon Cinnamon. However, the use of cinnamon for culinary as well as other purposes has been recorded all over the world for centuries.
Below are a few rare pictures of Shri Veena Baba (1916-1990), one of the greatest Nadayogis and musician saints of modern times. He lived for most of his life in the holy pilgrimage center of Badrinath, situated high up in the Himalayas.
