Can India do without China in a post-Covid world?
India has again found itself in an eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation with China. The new standoff comes at a time when India was hoping to make some inroads into Chinese dominance of global supply chains in a post-Covid world. But with its own domestic markets flooded with Chinese products, and a high dependency on Chinese imports to run its own factories, can India afford to antagonise its giant neighbour?
