Early monsoon? Rains set to hit Andamans in 3-4 days
The India Meteorological Department has predicted an early onset of the southwest monsoon this year and has said that it would reach the Andaman and Nicobar islands in the next 3 or 4 days. The department's formal forecast of the monsoon's onset over the Indian mainland is expected in 2-3 days.
