Why doctors are writing favipiravir for Covid despite limited data
Last month, India's drug regulator granted emergency-use authorisation for favipiravir to treat Covid-19, making it the first oral anti-viral drug approved for such use. However, Glenmark, which launched the favipiravir brand FabiFlu, hasn't yet disclosed data of its clinical trial on 150 patients o the assess the drug's safety and efficacy.
