MEA suffers Rs 378cr cut in fund allocation
Even as foreign policy remains one of the focus areas for the NDA government, MEA has had to suffer a cut of Rs 378 crore from what it was allocated last year.MEA was allocated Rs 14,662 crore in the Union Budget.

Enthused by budgetary proposals to boost exports, the rupee on Monday strengthened for the second day by rising 20 paise to end at 68.42 per dollar on sustained selling of the American currency by banks and exporters.
