354 dalit, adivasi groups suggest overhaul of schemes to finance ministry
Fed up of the current welF fare schemes meant to uplift them, which they see as ill-conceived, 354 dalit and adivasi groups from across India have proposed a new approach towards allocation of resources. They have submitted a detailed document to the finance ministry asking for the emphasis to shift from "survival" and "welfare" to real "economic empowerment".
