Gujarat HC stays Franklin Templeton's e-vote on winding up of six schemes

The Gujarat High Court on Wednesday stayed Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund's e-vote and unit holders meet for the six wound up schemes.

The e-voting to finalise the liquidation process of six wound-up schemes of Franklin Mutual fund will take place in a week. The remote e-voting is scheduled to start on June 9 and it will end on June 11.

Investors in two Franklin schemes will get some money back in July

Two of the six schemes have already repaid their bank borrowings and are cash-positive now. These schemes can start repayments to investors shortly, subject to a successful unitholder vote
