Lockdown, Day 63: India faces volley of shots

With the GDP numbers expected on May 29, the growth forecast is becoming more pessimistic by the day. While SBI's forecast points to a contraction of 6.8 percent, CRISIL predicted the economy to shrink by 5 percent in the current fiscal.

Uber has fired 600 people in India across levels and teams on Tuesday. All this while India faces Chinese hostility at Ladakh's Galwan river area.

Sixty days have made one thing clear, India is not under lockdown. Over the last two months, India's seen only patchwork closure and a crippled economy. Whatever time India bought from the lockdown - crucial time it could've used to improve infrastructure - seems to have gone to waste. Do you agree?
