Lockdown, Day 49: Cost of a week spent home

Ever wonder how much closing down factories for a week could cost? India found out today. The country's industrial production witnessed a record low of - 16.7% in March. PM Modi announced a nation-wide lockdown on March 25.

That's not all. In April alone, the lockdown cost 27 million youth their jobs. However, things are slowly beginning to look up, as more and more industries start back up in May.

    Kerala reports 5 new cases. The state's total case count is at 529

    Nagpur cases climb to 300; Maharashtra now has 23,401 cases
