7 more die in Assam floods, toll 60
The toll from the current wave of floods in Assam rose to 60 after seven more deaths were reported on Saturday . Twenty-four districts remained affected by the floods even as the water level of the Brahmaputra and its major tributaries showed signs of receding at several places.

Code to ban bribes from companies to doctors in final stages
After a two-year delay, a mandatory marketing code for the pharmaceutical industry to stop the bribing of doctors and health professionals may soon come into force.
