In yet another grave example of rising unemployment in India, over 3,500 candidates, including MBAs and other professional degree holders, appeared for 5 posts of peon in Gwalior district court on Saturday. Besides Madhya Pradesh, candidates from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi had also applied for the job which had an eligibility criterion of middle-pass and offered a salary of about Rs 5,700 per month.
