Dayalu Baba is a sadhu who has been living at the base of a sacred mountain on the edge of Odisha's Simlipal forest range for many decades. The Eternally Burning Fire of Sadhus

In North India the sadhus keep akhanda dhuni, which they worship three times a day and keep burning continuously. It is the same as nitya yagya (daily fire sacrifice).
