FPIs, MFs turn gung-ho on these 12 stocks; they're worth a look

Domestic mutual funds and foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) both turned bullish on at least a dozen common stocks in June quarter.

Stocks that made money for equity fund schemes in April-June

Shareholding data available till July 27 showed fund houses raised stakes in at least 255 companies during the quarter. Many of these stocks climbed as much as 162 per cent in Q1FY21.

Realty biggies grow share 3 times; minnows get booted out

Combined market share of top 10 property players increased three times to 37 per cent at the end of Q1FY21 from 13 per cent in 2019.

Indian value investors sold into April-June stocks rally

Ashish Kacholia topped the sellers' list. His stakes in Hikal, MIRC Electronics, Mold-tek Packaging, Mastek, Nocil and Gati fell below 1 per cent in June quarter.

Bajaj Auto Esop Trust and Bajaj Finserv Esop Trust have both acquired nearly a lakh shares each from the open market since March. Similarly, Bharti Infratel Employees' Welfare Trust has bought 2.37 lakh shares from the secondary market.
